According to our source, the first episode (part 1) of the teaching series began a week earlier, with the subtitle "Foundation", it was also taught by Pastor Samuel. The series analyzed the foundation of marriage and family, the meaning and the importance of a solid foundation for marriage and family. The episode also highlighted a few things the commission believes should not be found in marriage which include Extramarital Affairs, Deceit, Abuse, Selfishness, Lack of Submission etc.

In other to properly teach the first episode, FWC OTA further discussed the subtopics such as the Biblical opinion on foundation, Faulty foundations, and How to restore your marriage. A short excerpt from the message reads, "If the foundation is destroyed what shall the righteous do? In Christ Jesus, it can be restored once you are willing and obedient.

So, if you are already married and have done these things don’t feel bad. There is no marriage that cannot be saved with Christ Jesus who laid His life as a foundation on us to lay our blocks and build on"

In continuation of the Church's teaching series, the recent episode (Part 2), discussed the subtitle, The Marriage Covenant. This episode extensively discussed the definition and biblical understanding of Covenant, especially as it pertains to marriage. “In Christianity, the Marriage vow is a divine ordinance under God in which a man and woman make solemn promises to each other which binds them into the union as one for life. Vows are so important that the scripture Ecclesiastes 5:2-4 warns we should not utter things rashly (to speak without careful consideration) and hastily before God,” this is according to some of Pastor Samuel’s teaching.

In the episode, a few subtopics were mentioned, which included impediments in marriage. Some of the impediments were highlighted, with the intention to be noted before the marriage covenant. They include Child/children out of wedlock, Medical conditions, and keeping important information.

To wrap up the teaching episode, Pastor Samuel noted that “In FWC, we say it is better to dissolve a relationship than to go ahead into a fraudulent marriage that will bring pain. Our singles must weigh all these seriously before agreeing to marry anyone.”
