Anchor scripture “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.” - Isaiah 60:2
The current state of the nation's economy could almost fit in the first part of Isaiah 60:2, no doubt there is hardship in the land. The continuous fuel and gas hike, increase in the price of commodities and the consistent devaluation of the currency do sound like gross darkness.
Yet every believer is required to build a stronger Faith at this time, having Job 22:29 as a watchword. Taking references from the Bible, it is important to remember that economic downfall such as experienced no has always occurred in during different Biblical occasions. During the days of great famine in Joseph’s time, starvation in the time of Moses and likewise in the days of Job, yet one thing stands is that God never lets his people down.
There are so many scriptures in the Bible that assures God’s care for his people ( Nigerians included). The latter part of the anchor scripture explains what God has in plan for believers especially as God is continued to be referenced.
Regardless of what is happening in Nigeria's economy today, believers should not forget, that God exists, as a believer, you are encouraged to use the name of Jesus.
In as much as God provides for His Children, Trust Him to meet your needs always, as you don't have to get all your needs yourself. He is willing to send you help, they could even come in the form of people.
He is God, a Miracle Worker, the Unchangeable Changer. All you have to do is to desire it in your heart, in the name of Jesus and it is yours.
Believe that God still does wonders. The Economy might be tough, But His children will always flourish in any situation (Proverbs 11:28)
TRUST GOD FOR ALL YOUR NEEDS
